Riding for a Cure

Mark Willoughby and Barry Kaplan, both avid cyclists, rode in the 100-mile 2022 JDRF Amelia Island Ride to Cure Diabetes at the end of last year. They were a part of a 92-rider team from GA/SC that raised $450k of the total $2.5m raised for diabetes research.

This is not Mark Willoughby’s first ride for the cause. He completed the 100-mile JDRF ride in Grand Rapids Michigan last year as well.

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

Well done, gentleman!
