Shardae is responsible for greeting guests, organizing documents, scheduling firm-wide meetings, maintaining office facilities and creating a welcoming office environment.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
The people, my co-workers. They work hard and sincerely for our clients and believe in Modera’s mission. They also lead full lives outside of work, by traveling and spending time with their family, friends, and partners, and that is equally as inspiring.
How do you do good in your community?
One way I try to do good is by volunteering in the pantry or kitchen at one of the local women’s shelters in Boston called Rosie’s Place. I donate clothes and books as well.
What’s a destination in the world that you aspire to visit?
As of 2019, I have three: Japan, Los Angeles, and a country in Africa.
How do you caffeinate?
K-cups! I’m one of the few people in the office that like or is willing to try the fun, flavored coffee cups they offer. Sometimes they can be a miss, but most of the time they’re good and just a different kind of caffeinated experience.
