As a Senior Planning Associate, Keith plays a key role in strengthening client relationships and supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial planning. As an integral part of your advisory team, he conducts in-depth client interviews to gather financial data and work through planning goals, contributing to strategies across investment, tax, retirement, estate planning, executive compensation, risk management, and education funding.
In addition to helping clients implement their financial plans, Kieth participates actively in client meetings, providing documentation and follow-up support to ensure continuity and clarity. He reviews investment allocation reports, collaborates with the client service team to monitor service activities, and researches planning strategies and potential tax law changes to align with long-term client outcomes.
Beyond client-facing responsibilities, Kieth contributes to internal initiatives such as onboarding new team members and supporting broader wealth management projects. With a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail, he helps ensure Modera’s planning process remains thorough, personalized, and forward-thinking.
What do you value most in your client relationships?
What I value most in client relationships is trust, and I believe trust is built through consistency. Life and finances are always changing, but my clients know they’ll get the same version of me every time we connect. I strive to be a dependable resource who is available to listen, provide guidance, and help them work through both exciting opportunities and difficult decisions. Being that steady presence is the most meaningful way I can serve my clients.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
My path to financial planning wasn’t a direct one. I originally thought I’d end up teaching history and coaching basketball, but after college I discovered a passion for helping people understand complex financial concepts while working in the mortgage industry. Today, what fuels me is helping clients gain clarity and confidence as they make important financial decisions.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I was born in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University, I moved back to Jacksonville Beach, where I began my career in financial services. I relocated to Charlotte in 2014 for a new opportunity and to be closer to my older brother and his family. Now Charlotte is home to my wife Jordan and our twin boys Henry and Theo.
