What do you value most in your client relationships?

The level of trust that clients place in us to help guide them in their financial lives is what I value most in client relationships. Being able to discuss topics of personal finance openly and aid in others feeling a greater sense of financial independence is very rewarding. The impact of helping my clients, their families, and other loved ones, as well as building long-term relationships with them is a driving force in my career.

What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?

While growing up, financial discussions with my family began at a young age. My family stressed the importance of personal finance and being financially independent. This has stuck with me throughout my life, sparking my interest in helping others gain the same sense of financial empowerment.
Educating my clients and collaborating with them to define and strive toward their goals is what fuels me in my work. It is very rewarding to see my clients feel financially empowered, and to help pass this on to their future generations.

When you retire you’re going to…?

Travel across the country to accomplish my goal of visiting each state. There’s so much to explore in our own backyard or only a car-ride away. So far, I’ve traveled to over 25 states and my favorite has been Tennessee where I enjoyed visiting the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in a small town in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Best known for rural landscapes with vast state and county parks, it’s where I get my love of the outdoors.
