What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
Before Modera I spent 7 years in the life insurance industry. It was an incredible experience! I learned that I loved providing solutions to high level problems for my clients. There’s no better feeling than building real relationships with the families your serve.
What do you feel is a strength that you have?
My biggest strength is adaptability. Every client has a different background, circumstances, and story. I take pride in finding the best way to communicate in a manner in which they’ll be most comfortable. It’s the fastest way to make a friend!
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
I love the company culture. You can tell Modera really cares about taking care of its clients and everyone who serves them. Everyone I’ve met has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and make sure I’m on the track to success. I hope to be here for a very long time!
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Forest City, NC. It is a small town about an hour outside of Asheville. I came to Asheville for college, met my wife, and now we live in Fletcher, NC with our two boys.
