What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
As a portfolio manager, I enjoy assembling the various pieces of a portfolio to form a picture that fulfills the financial goals of the client. I liken it to putting a jigsaw puzzle together and I love puzzles.
How do you do good in your community?
I’ve been a volunteer Master Gardener for a number of years and worked on the planning and development of public garden spaces located in city parks and hospice care facilities.
When you retire you’re going to…?
I would like to take a deep dive into family history. My grandparents came to the U.S. from Scotland in the 1930s and left many siblings behind. I have traveled to Scotland and met a few relatives, but I have much more family overseas than in the U.S. and I would like to learn more of their history.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Virginia and have been in Charlotte for 27 years.
