What do you value most in your client relationships?
I value trust, transparency, and genuine connection above all else. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions. It’s a privilege to walk alongside them—especially through life’s transitions—and I’m honored when they trust me with both the financial and personal sides of their story.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
As a first-generation immigrant, I saw firsthand how financial knowledge—or the lack of access to it—can shape a family’s future. That experience sparked my interest in financial planning and continues to fuel my work every day. I’m passionate about helping people gain clarity and confidence around their finances, especially during moments of transition. It’s incredibly rewarding to guide clients toward stability and empowerment—knowing I can make a meaningful impact in their lives.
How do you feel you help to create impact for clients?
I create impact by helping clients navigate complexity with clarity and confidence. Whether it’s preparing for retirement, going through a divorce, or managing generational wealth, I work to simplify the process and to provide guidance that’s both strategic and deeply personal. By listening closely and offering thoughtful, values-based advice, I help clients feel more in control of their financial future—and that peace of mind is the real impact.
What do you feel is a strength that you have?
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to combine technical expertise with empathy. I’m a good listener, and I approach every client relationship with care, curiosity, and cultural awareness. This allows me to build deep trust and guide clients through both the financial and emotional sides of planning—especially during major life transitions.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
What I enjoy most about working at Modera is the team’s shared commitment to putting clients first. I feel fortunate to be part of a firm that values integrity, collaboration, and diversity—not just in our words, but in our daily work. The culture here allows me to bring my full self to the table and truly focus on helping clients feel supported, understood, and empowered.
How do you do good in your community?
I strive to do good in my community by promoting financial literacy and advocating for greater access to financial planning—especially for women, immigrants, and underserved groups. Through my leadership with the Financial Planning Association of Georgia, I help advance initiatives that support diverse professionals in our field. I also enjoy mentoring, volunteering, and staying engaged in local efforts that uplift families and build long-term stability.
When you retire you’re going to…?
When I retire, I hope to spend more time traveling with my family, exploring new cultures, and maybe even living abroad for a while. I’d love to stay engaged in my community, possibly through mentoring or volunteer work, and create space for the slower, simpler joys—like cooking, dancing, and watching my son build a life of his own.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in San Juan del Río, a vibrant town in Querétaro, Mexico, known for its rich history and close-knit community. I immigrated to the U.S. with my family when I was five years old, and we eventually settled in New York City, where I spent a significant part of my life. Today, I reside in Atlanta, Georgia, with my husband and our young son, cherishing the diverse experiences that have shaped my journey
