Outside of work, Laurie loves to spend time with her husband, college- age daughter and their two ragdoll cats. She enjoys watching Broadway musicals, international travel, and misses the terrific seafood from Boston, her hometown.
When you’re not working you’re…?
Hanging out with my family (my husband, teenage daughter, and our two Ragdoll cats – Cappuccino and Latte). I also love to get up at the crack of dawn on Saturday mornings to be the “early bird” at yard sales in hopes of finding antiques and other treasures!
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
Newton, Massachusetts – a wonderful tightknit suburb just outside of Boston. I’ve been in the Atlanta area since 2004; our family lived near Emory for many years and recently moved further north to Acworth. GA (about 30 miles north of Atlanta)
What’s a destination in the world that you aspire to visit?
Greece. I’ve spent lots of time in Italy and love the history of that country and know that Greece has an even older history, along with wonderful cuisine and amazing scenery.
How do you caffeinate?
Hot coffee with lots and lots of cream; Dunkin Donuts is a favorite!
