What do you value most in your client relationships?
Client relationships are a partnership. I greatly value the trust and confidence my clients place in me.

What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
Several years ago, I worked with a firm that sold products and I was disheartened that the focus was on sales rather than helping clients better manage their financial lives. I knew there had to be a better way to use my experience and knowledge to help clients. I was fortunate to find my way to an independent, fee only firm where the client’s interest always came first. I take pride in creating comprehensive financial plans paired with sound investment management to give clients peace of mind to live their lives to the fullest.

What fuels me every day is seeing clients gain peace of mind and live their lives confidently.

What’s a particularly rewarding example of how you helped to create impact for a client?
I find it particularly rewarding to work with multigenerational clients. Being able to help young adult children make good decisions early, and most importantly understand how the decisions they make today can help ensure their future financial success, gives me great fulfillment and purpose.

How do you do good in your community?
I was raised by parents that instilled in me the joy of giving back. My father, while working at Xerox started an annual charitable dinner. When my dad retired, he received a recognition plaque from the mayor (who attended the event every year) for starting and leading the dinner for years.

Growing up, I can remember serving Thanksgiving meals at nursing homes of Boston alongside my dad. It was heartwarming to see these close-knit relationships my dad formed with community members and to witness the positive impact my father’s lifelong service had on their lives.

I’ve tried to instill the same values in my family, from volunteer coaching and CCD teaching in the early years, to supporting high school Booster Clubs, and actively volunteering as a family for Christmas in the city. I believe it’s in giving, that we receive.

When you retire you’re going to…?
I love the work I do, and I hope to continue that work into retirement. For me, more travel and family time are what come to mind when I think of when I eventually retire.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up on the south shore in Hingham, MA. I currently live with my husband and three sons in Hopkinton, MA. We are nearly empty nesters with our youngest in high school and our two oldest off to Notre Dame… go Irish!
