What do you value most in your client relationships?
I find that getting to know clients on a personal level is most important. Understanding client financial goals and anxieties is fundamental to the planning process and helps us to provide the most value we can to our clients.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
As a supplemental instructor for introductory finance courses in college, I was introduced to the value of understanding money and how much anxiety many people feel regarding their savings and retirement. Helping to provide that financial knowledge and helping our clients pave the way to achieve whatever goals they have, no matter how big or small, is what fuels me every day.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
I love how much I learn everyday working for Modera. Supporting advisors so experienced and credentialed as an aspiring advisor I can’t help but try and pick up as much as I can.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in a small town north of Cincinnati, OH and remain a loyal fan of the Buckeyes. I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2021 and have loved getting to know the city ever since.
