As the Director of Human Resources at Modera Wealth Management, Dawn Nickerson oversees the systems, processes, and programs that shape and support the firm’s employee experience. In her role, Dawn partners closely with firm leadership and the HR team to ensure that all HR operations—spanning technology, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations—are efficient, scalable, and aligned with Modera’s long term growth strategy.

A seasoned HR leader, Dawn brings deep experience across the full human resources lifecycle. Her background includes strategic and operational leadership in HR systems and automation, digital transformation, employee relations, total rewards, benefits administration, compliance, culture evolution, and employee engagement. With a balanced blend of strategic insight and hands on execution, Dawn is known for guiding organizations through meaningful, people-centered change.

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her adult children, family, and friends. She stays active through tennis, pickleball, gym workouts, and hiking—and often recharges by spending time at the beach.
