What do you value most in your client relationships?

In my client relationships, I value when clients choose to put trust and confidence in us. It’s a great responsibility but a great honor.

What fuels you every day in your work?

It is my goal every day to support individuals and families in achieving the best versions of themselves. Most of my clients are still working, raising young kids, and building the lives they want for themselves. I aim to help them do that by allowing them to worry less about the financial side of things.

I also come to work every day to learn something new or figure something out—whether it’s solving a complex planning issue or just learning something from my clients I never knew. I personally am always looking to grow and improve myself.

What’s the one thing people say you’re best at?

One unique thing people say I’m very good at is teaching. While in law school, I was a course scholar—essentially helping first year students with certain difficult subject matter courses. Many of my law school colleagues thought I would be a great law school professor. So, I’m very passionate about helping my clients learn and understand financial concepts before making financial decisions.

When you retire you’re going to…?

I’m young. Too far away to know!

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

I grew up in Cary, NC. I attended college and law school in Chapel Hill and Raleigh, NC. And now I live in Huntersville. NC born and bred!
