I love the outdoors and sports. I play basketball after work almost every day and I am in an adult soccer league. I also enjoy golf, hiking, fishing, etc.
What’s the best career advice you ever got?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to stay humble. When you come across something you don’t know how to do by yourself, don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you try to do things on your own, it can often lead to stress and mistakes.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up on a farm outside Roanoke, Virginia. I had never lived outside southwest Virginia until I moved to the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia metro) area, which I am still adjusting to. There are many great things about big cities, but I often miss my hometown.
What’s a destination in the world that you aspire to visit?
I love to travel. I have been to multiple countries in the Caribbean, but I have always wanted to visit South America and the South Pacific.
