How do you feel you help to create impact for clients?
– My primary focus has been using active listening and communication skills to (1) understand the client’s goals and (2) articulate client challenges and summarize solutions succinctly in ways that are relatable. I am very technology focused so my clients are typically internal groups, and I try to listen to their key challenges and explain the technology solutions that can resolve their key pain points.
– Impact for clients of the firm flows downstream from improving the experience of our advisors , our financial research teams , and others that I support.
What do you feel is a strength that you have?
I’ve taken a lot of talent/personality type assessments that invariably highlight robust ideation as my key strength over all else. I’m also very visual so I enjoy being able to ideate and then express my ideas visually and diagrammatically to others which often sparks good solution development.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
The great team – the people who work at Modera have got to be some of the warmest and kindest people I’ve met , which leads to an incredible team dynamic!
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in part in Kolkata on the east coast of India and then continued growing up (in college and graduate school) in Indiana and North Carolina. I live in a suburb of Atlanta called Norcross and have lived here for 17+ years and love it here!
When you retire, you’re going to…?
If I can , I’m going to try to continue traveling and exploring different cultures, cuisines and customs in different parts of the world, since travel is my passion. I’d also love to invest more time in photography and learning languages!
