As a Planning Associate, Alex supports the advisory team in a variety of client service and planning activities. Responsibilities include preparing for client meetings, assisting with the onboarding of new assets, drafting Investment Policy Statements, and maintaining communication with clients and their professional contacts.
Alex participates in client meetings and assists with documenting and coordinating follow-up items. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the development of financial plans, gathering information from clients, and monitoring planning strategies and tax law developments relevant to client needs. Working alongside the client service team, he manages multiple projects and administrative tasks within a fast-paced environment, applying organizational skills and attention to detail to support ongoing client and team initiatives.

Trust is the foundation of every successful client relationship. Financial planning requires clients to share some of the most personal aspects of their lives, so it is crucial that they feel heard, respected, and confident that we are acting in their best interest.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
I have always enjoyed solving problems and working with numerical data, which is what led me to study econometrics, and I have always wanted my work to make a real impact. As I learned more about personal finance, I realized financial planning combines analytical thinking with helping people make meaningful life decisions. What really drew me in was the opportunity to help create plans that give clients confidence and clarity about their future.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
