A Day in the Life

Modera Wealth Management is proud to be collaborating with two HBCUs by providing internships, education, scholarships, and active immersion. Modera has committed to multi-year scholarships and mentorships for students from Clark Atlanta University and Delaware State University’s Financial Planning programs.  We’ve hosted webinars for students about fee only financial planning and recently we hosted a “A Day in the Life of a Financial Advisor” experience at our Wayne, PA office for students and faculty of DSU.

Pat Runyen is currently serving on the DSU Financial Literacy Institute Advisory Board; after his 3-year term concludes, Mark Rioboli will serve.

By providing meaningful and substantial scholarships to financial planning students at these HBCU’s, Modera’s intent is to:

• Impact and increase diversity in our industry.
• Build lasting relationships with faculty and students, while gaining opportunities for direct involvement in the financial planning programs at these universities.
• Directly impact the future diversity within Modera.
