Modera Wealth Management Listed in Financial Advisor (FA) Magazine’s 2024 RIA Ranking

July 18, 2024

Modera is proud to be ranked 41st in FA Magazine’s 2024 RIA Ranking, up from the 68th spot in 2023. FA Magazine ranked 431 RIA firms in total, 99 of which had more than $5 billion in assets managed as of the end of 2023.

The annual ranking is based primarily on five components: 2023 year-end assets; percentage growth in assets from 2022-2023; average assets per client; percentage growth in assets per client; percentage change in number of clients.

Modera managed $12.5 billion as of the end of 2023 with an average of $2.2 million in assets managed per client.

Modera was also ranked 7th in their “Top 50 Fastest-Growing Firms” list with an 84% asset growth rate in 2023. This was due to three strategic acquisitions: Parsec Financial, Crimmins Wealth Management, and Baldrige Asset Management, which added six offices across NC and a second location in PA.

Our growth has been driven by a desire to give clients a highly personal service experience, and access to varied investment opportunities. “Ultimately, we’ve grown in those special moments when we’ve connected with firms and individuals who share our distinct combination of professional excellence and friendly, relatable work style,” Modera CEO Tom Orecchio said.

FA’s RIA Ranking is an independent listing produced by Financial Advisor magazine. Firms must be registered investment advisors and provide financial planning and/or related services to individual clients. All firms must be either independently managed or a freestanding subsidiary of another business. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to FA Magazine to be included in the listing. Data is provided by each firm, mostly from numbers and information published on forms they submit to the SEC. Each firm is then ranked alongside their participating peers.
