Bradley’s approach is simple and effective. He helps young, high-earning clients and their families ensure they are on the right financial path by providing comprehensive education, planning, and guidance. Bradley takes the time to deeply understand his clients’ lives and situations, fostering a personal, shared connection. He believes education is key and works to break down complex concepts into more understandable ideas.
The process begins with learning the client’s goals, discussing options, and weighing trade-offs – the foundation of thoughtful financial planning. Together, Bradley and his clients develop and implement a tailored plan, adjusting it as life and goals evolve. His ultimate aim is to help clients let go of financial stress so they can focus on their true passions in life.
Prior to joining Modera in 2020, Bradley worked within the institutional trust department of a large regional bank working with employer retirement plans, charitable organizations, and corporate clients.
Bradley earned a B.A in economics and history from UNC Chapel Hill. In addition, he earned his Masters of Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University and a J.D. from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. He is a CERTFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a Behavioral Financial Advisor.
Outside the office, Bradley loves to be active and enjoy the outdoors-whether it’s walking his dogs, hiking, or spending the day on the lake with friends. He cherishes spending time with his family and being a dad.
What do you value most in your client relationships?
In my client relationships, I value when clients choose to put trust and confidence in us. It’s a great responsibility but a great honor
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
Even though my dad is in the wealth management industry, I never saw financial planning as my destiny or experienced a spark. Instead, I think it was a gradual realization that I thrive and find great joy when I’m the person others turn to for guidance. I truly believe in helping others navigate complex problems, think through potential solutions, and make informed decisions (whether financial or not). Being a financial advisor not only allows me to use my analytical skills, but also provides me with a sense of purpose and satisfaction.
When you retire you’re going to…?
Not retiring any time soon, but I really enjoy being active and being outside, especially hiking. An ideal day is something like a long, strenuous hike with my wife that takes several hours and most of the day. I love feeling accomplished. Then, a nap and relaxing until we find a new spot to experience for dinner and an ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Cary, NC. I attended college and law school in Chapel Hill and Raleigh, NC. Now, I live in Huntersville with my family. NC born and bred!
