Vince Curtin

Director, Head of Mergers and Acquisitions

Vince Curtin leads Modera’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, focusing on identifying and structuring partnerships that support the firm’s long-term growth. With over 15 years of experience in wealth and asset management, Vince has a strong background in sourcing, negotiating, and closing transactions. His approach emphasizes not just financial alignment, but cultural fit and long-term success for all stakeholders.

Before joining Modera in August 2025, Vince held senior M&A roles at Transcend Capital Advisors and The Mather Group. He also spent a decade at UBS Investment Bank advising global asset and wealth managers, and began his career in corporate development at Lincoln Financial Group.

Vince earned both his MBA, with concentrations in Financial Investing and Corporate Finance, and his BA from Cornell University, where he was a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar.

He lives in Manhattan with his wife, daughter, and dog, and enjoys visiting family in Connecticut and the Finger Lakes. A fan of New York sports teams and live music, Vince also appreciates discovering pop-up art and cultural events around the city. He’s active in community causes including mentorship, autism awareness, and veterans’ housing.

What do you feel is a strength that you have?

One of my strengths is connecting with people in a genuine and transparent way. I enjoy finding common ground and building meaningful relationships, cutting through the noise to help move things forward with clarity and purpose.

How do you do good in your community?

For me, doing good in the community starts with everyday actions. At home, we’re focused on raising our daughter to be kind, empathetic, and to speak up for others when something’s wrong—values we hope she carries into the world to help make it better. I’ve been involved in mentorship and community initiatives, including work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the American Red Cross, and continue to support causes like autism awareness, housing for military veterans and men’s mental health advocacy.

When you retire you’re going to…?

I hope to be like Bruce Springsteen or the Rolling Stones—having so much fun doing what I love that I won’t want to retire!

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

I grew up in a small town in upstate New York and now live in Manhattan. I never thought I’d start a family and build a life in “The City,” but after more than a decade here, I genuinely love it. I’m still waiting to celebrate a ticker tape parade in the Canyon of Heroes for one of my favorite teams, but I remain optimistic!
