What do you value most in your client relationships?

Trust is at the heart of every meaningful client relationship. It takes time to build, but once it’s there, that’s when true planning can begin. Many people think trust is one-sided, the client placing confidence in the advisor’s recommendations, but it’s just as important that the advisor trusts the client’s commitment to follow through. When both sides are fully engaged, that’s when progress becomes possible, and plans turn into outcomes.

What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?

I was fortunate to grow up in a household where finances were discussed openly, so my interest in financial planning began at a young age, often around the dinner table, asking my dad questions. Over time, that curiosity grew into a passion for helping others. I see financial planning as a puzzle, each client’s situation is unique, and I enjoy digging into the details to make sure every piece fits their goals. What drives me every day is the opportunity to connect with clients and help turn their dreams into actionable, achievable plans.

When you retire you’re going to…?

That’s a long way off for me, but think when I get there, I will likely be outdoors and in a garden more.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

I grew up in Lakeland, Florida, a town between Orlando and Tampa. I currently live in Asheville, North Carolina.
