What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?

The combination of the culture, people, and the potential for growth. I appreciate coordinating with talented, collaborative people who genuinely support one another while working toward shared goals. I value the opportunities to take on new challenges, expand my responsibilities, and continue developing professionally.

When you’re not working you’re…?

Mostly attending my kids’ high school sports & activities: football, baseball, field hockey, girls’ lacrosse and the various related supporting events. It’s rewarding to watch them compete and develop leadership skills. Outside of that, I cook meals for my family, maintain my aquarium, bird-watch, make fermented hot sauce, teach a graduate-level class at Baruch College, attend Seton Hall Pirates basketball games, & build wooden model sailboats (& also sail real sailboats).

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

I grew up in Glen Ridge, NJ and I live there today! I took a roundabout route back home, living for 15 years across Delaware, Jamaica, south Florida, and Hoboken.

What’s a destination in the world that you aspire to visit?

Croatia – as a Mediterranean sailing destination that has short sails to medieval/feudal-era stone towers, castles, monasteries, etc., as well as modern resorts.
