What do you value most in your client relationships?
What I enjoy most is the personal side of working with clients. The numbers are important, but they rarely capture what really drives someone. I love getting to know people, understanding their goals, and learning what motivates them. That insight helps us create better plans, but just as important, it leads to deeper and more meaningful relationships.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
I grew up in a very service-oriented family, and that foundation continues to motivate me. I love helping people, and this profession allows that purpose to show up in meaningful ways every day. It is very rewarding to optimize a client’s financial picture, but underneath the technical aspect of what we do, what truly drives me is knowing that the work we do helps bring clarity and confidence to our clients’ lives.
How do you do good in your community?
For me, it all boils down to my kids. I feel like the greatest positive impact I can have on my community is for my wife and I to raise respectful, intelligent, and caring young men.
When you retire you’re going to…?
Spend time with family and travel a bit—maybe shave a couple of strokes off my golf game.
