What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
My parents taught me the importance of saving and investing at a young age, which drove my interest in personal finance. After completing an internship at a wealth management firm during college, I came to realize how many different strategies existed to maximize client wealth, and have since discovered a passion for sharing these strategies to help clients reach their financial goals.
What’s the one thing people say you’re best at?
I’m very detail-oriented. Knowing bits and pieces of a client’s situation doesn’t work for me; I work hard to develop a deep understanding of a client’s full financial picture and use that to build a plan designed to meet their unique financial goals.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
I enjoy the strong collaboration within the firm, especially across our multiple offices. There’s always something new to be learned that will help our clients succeed, and Modera has so many resources that can be used to solve problems for clients.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Westwood, MA before escaping the cold to North Carolina for college. I now reside in South Boston and have learned to embrace the winters through my newfound love of skiing.
