What do you value most in your client relationships?
Each and every individual client is important to me. I value the ability to work towards providing each of my clients with specific tailored financial planning and advice that will help them reach their financial goals. Clear communication is one of my objectives in every relationship, and I truly value the trust that is developed from doing this. I became involved in this field specifically to cultivate relationships and help people reach their full potential. Meeting new clients and getting to know them on a deeper level is something I look forward to daily.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
I started out working in the medical field as an athletic trainer helping people recover from injuries and setbacks, so that they could get back to their full potential whether on the field or in everyday life. The part of this job that I loved the most was seeing all of the physical therapy and exercises pay off in the end for each of my patients. I enjoyed getting the opportunity to see them do what they love again. When I decided I wanted to make a career change, financial planning was the clear winner for these very reasons. Financial planning is so integral to our daily lives just like exercise and injury prevention. It involves many different aspects of life and decision making, which ultimately develops success and financial security. Having the opportunity to help people develop their own financial plan and goals is a privilege and an honor. It is especially wonderful to see my client’s hard work pay off in the end.
What do you feel is a strength that you have?
Listening to people is something I have always strived to be best at. I believe this is incredibly important in the wealth management industry. Before we create your plan of action as my client, we will have many discussions where I get to know you and your personal situation. If I didn’t listen well, your plan will not make sense for you specifically. One of my strongest qualities is taking in this data and information and analyzing it to provide you with the financial advice to help you towards success.
