Modera Supports Great Falls Peer Financial Literacy Day

Sharing the wealth….of knowledge! Samer Eshmawy, CFP® in collaboration with New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) participated in Paterson’s JFK High School’s 2024 Financial Literacy Day. In 2023, Samer helped educate 30 students on various financial literacy topics, aiming to empower them to then teach their peers and families what they learned. Yesterday marked the culmination of this effort, as these same 30 students, armed with their financial knowledge, went on to instruct 125 fellow students on the same topics. Once again, the hope and goal is that these 125 students will share their newfound knowledge with others and thereby extend the reach of financial education throughout the community. Local banks offered the students the opportunity to open an account with a gifted $50 initial deposit. And one lucky student won a PS5 raffle prize. It was a fantastic day!
