Modera employees traveled to Greensboro, NC, for a 3-day offsite. During our time together the philanthropy committee announced our new grants program, Modera Gives, where we will give large-scale, unrestricted grants to non profits in all locations we have offices later this year focused on food insecurity. Thus, one of our teambuilding exercises consisted of constructing food-based sculptures and then afterward we donated all of the food — 2,141 pounds to be exact!! — to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC … an amazing food bank in Winston-Salem where we have an office and a prior grant recipient of ours. We are honored to do so much good for those around us!
