Jordan RubinCFA, CFP®
Senior Financial Advisor
Jordan’s role involves working with clients to formulate planning goals, developing and implementing wealth management strategies and monitoring clients’ progress in working towards their financial and investment goals.
What do you value most in your client relationships?
I most value the trust clients place in me, knowing that I take my role as their fiduciary seriously, and that I will always act in their best interest.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
My undergraduate investment classes at UVA piqued my interest in finance and investing, but my first job out of college really lit the spark for me. I love working with people, helping them identify their unique goals and objectives, and helping them monitor progress towards their stated goals.
When you retire you’re going to…?
It’s a challenge for me to sit still, so a full retirement is a tough concept for me to envision. I would enjoy working part-time as a teacher, teaching personal finance to high school students. Outside of that, I would love to volunteer at a local animal shelter and spend more time visiting family.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Scarsdale, NY (go Yankees!). After attending college in Charlottesville, Virginia where I met my wife, we stayed in Charlottesville for several years before moving to the Northern Virginia area. We now live in Alexandria, Virginia with our daughter.
