Bill’s responsibilities include data analysis, supporting client relationships and assisting wealth managers in developing comprehensive financial plans.

What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
My interest in financial planning began my junior year of college. I took a class titled “Money and Banking.” At the same time, I was also reading an introductory book on personal finance. During the class and while reading, I came to the realization that I knew very little about all the available financial tools and vehicles accessible to the everyday citizen. After finishing the book as well as the class, I was motivated to dive deeper into the world of financial planning for the purpose of bettering my own personal finances. The more I learned the more I desired to share that knowledge to help others manage their finances. I wake up and come to work every day with a passion to keep learning and to help others.

What’s the one thing people say you’re best at?
I am quite good at asking questions. I tend not to hold back with my inquisitions, and I am determined to learn the specifics about certain theories and instruments. I have a strong belief that by staying curious and diving deeper into a topic can lead to positive outcomes.

What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
Too Easy. It’s my colleagues. The people I work with are some of the most dedicated and friendliest people I have ever met. They create an environment that encourages continued education, which is especially important to me as a recent college graduate. They come from all types of backgrounds and have extensive experience in the industry. I cannot imagine a better company to start my post-graduate career with.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Downingtown, Pa. During my college years, I lived in Northeast Washington, D.C, and I currently reside in Phoenixville, Pa.
