As a Senior Planning Associate, Marley plays a key role in strengthening client relationships and supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial planning. As an integral part of your advisory team, she conducts in-depth client interviews to gather financial data and clarify planning goals, contributing to strategies across investment, tax, retirement, estate planning, executive compensation, risk management, and education funding.
In addition to helping clients implement their financial plans, Marley participates actively in client meetings, providing documentation and follow-up support to support continuity and clarity. She reviews investment allocation reports, collaborates with the client service team to monitor service activities, and researches planning strategies and potential tax law changes to keep clients’ financial plans current.
Beyond client-facing responsibilities, Marley contributes to internal initiatives such as onboarding new team members and supporting broader wealth management projects. With a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail, she helps support Modera’s comprehensive planning process.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
I was first exposed to the concept of financial planning when I was a teen, seeing my mother benefit from the financial support and financial guidance of others. Financial planning seemed like such a rewarding opportunity to help guide people with something so personal and impactful throughout their life’s changing seasons. It is a great model for what it means to help shoulder another’s burdens and I knew it was the career I wanted to pursue and what fuels me to this day

Listening. I endeavor to be quick to listen and slow to speak.
When you retire you’re going to…?
Hopefully keep moving and exploring the wonderful creation we are surrounded by in the outdoors. I want my days to be spent running, biking, fishing, hiking, and in fellowship with others.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I am from the rural farmlands outside of Reading, Pennsylvania. I moved back home after college because the cost of living at home can’t be beat!
