What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?

The people, hands down.  I get to spend every day with an impressive group of smart, talented, thoughtful and kind colleagues whose warmth and enthusiasm is infectious.

What’s the best career advice you ever got?

A very wise and wonderful colleague once told me, “Don’t let your job define who you are.”  It was great advice at that moment in time in my life and something that has stayed with me ever since.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

I grew up in southeastern PA, in a rural area between Philadelphia and Allentown.  We had a farm across the street and woods behind us.  I moved to New York City right after college and, other than a brief detour to London for a few years, have lived here ever since.

What’s a destination in the world that you aspire to visit?

I’ve been fortunate in that I’ve already visited so many amazing places on this earth, but haven’t made my way to Egypt — yet.  I hope to correct that in the not-too-distant future.
