As a Client Service Specialist, Owen provides client service and operational support to clients and the advisory team. Responsibilities include managing client communications, administering accounts, processing account openings, transfers, and money movements, coordinating with custodians, accountants, and other professionals, maintaining documentation, and updating internal systems.
He initiates and manages workflows associated with client onboardings, review meetings, and discovery meetings, prepares reports and supporting documents, and may attend client meetings in a technical, support, or observational capacity. Additional responsibilities include reviewing account activity, researching service-related matters, organizing client records, updating training materials, and supporting front-office administrative functions.
What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
I knew the moment I joined Modera that I could not have asked for a more welcoming and friendly group of colleagues. I love the enthusiasm and passion that my peers show toward their work and am glad to be part of such a great team.
When you’re not working you’re…?
I am playing golf, rollerblading, or finding other ways to get outdoors under the sun. I also recently acquired a pickleball net and have really enjoyed learning and laughing with friends out on the court.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in East Walpole, MA, while spending many summers split between my Grandparents houses in Hull and East Dennis. I recently made the move to South Boston and have loved my time spent in this great city.
What’s a destination in the world that you aspire to visit?
My dream destination can go one of two ways. Either sitting on a beach on the British Virgin Islands baking in the sun or traveling around Europe enjoying a new golf course everyday over the span of the vacation.
