What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?

I strongly believe that an individual’s time, interest, or knowledge should not be a barrier in securing a great financial future. I joined the financial planning industry to help give my clients more confidence that they are prepared for whatever financial obstacles they might encounter over their lifetime. A financial planner’s job is truly done when the client can sleep easily at night and direct their focus on what truly matters in their lives.

What’s the one thing people say you’re best at?

I’ve been told I am an empathetic listener. Helping to manage a client’s emotions during turbulent financial times can be just as important, if not more, than managing their portfolio.

What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?

I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my job. Every situation is unique. It feels great to collaborate with my colleagues at Modera to find the best possible solutions for clients.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

I grew up in Downingtown Pennsylvania and now live not too far away in Center City Philadelphia.
