Modera Gives: Modera Wealth Management Launches Charitable Program

September 27, 2024

At Modera Wealth Management, one of our fundamental values is giving back to the communities we serve.

Charitable efforts, whether it be our time, talent, or financial support, have been a key part of our identity from the very beginning.   This continues to be a priority as we’ve expanded through growth, acquisitions, and mergers. Since 2005, we’ve proudly donated nearly $2 million to 101 local non-profits across the areas we serve.

Building on this strong tradition of giving, we officially launched the Modera Gives program in 2024. This initiative is our corporate grants program, featuring significant, unrestricted grants aimed at helping local non-profits advance their missions and improve the lives of people in our communities. The Modera Gives program now accounts for roughly half of our annual charitable giving.

This year, our philanthropy committee has chosen hunger as our primary focus. Each office identified organizations within their communities who are dedicated to alleviating hunger, with an emphasis on supporting those where our financial contributions would make the most significant impact. “We’re excited to ‘give where we live’ and to support the incredible organizations who work tirelessly to address food insecurity in our communities,” said Michael Gibney who heads the philanthropy committee at Modera. “We look forward to collaborating with our awardee organizations for a staff volunteer day of service as well.”
