What do you value most in your client relationships?
I greatly value the personal connections I make with my clients. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients in NYC, Brooklyn, Long Island, Staten Island and New Jersey. Having recently moved to Florida, I’m making new connections and discovering how many of my clients have relocated to Florida from the NY/NJ area, or have homes in both locations. I appreciate the level of trust clients place in me, to learn and understand what is important to them, both financially and personally.

What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
My father came to the United States in 1930 during the Great Depression, he became a US citizen and later served in the US Army during World War II and following his service, started his own business. Through hard work and determination my father and my mother, put their boys through college and built a home and life in Northern New Jersey. Being the youngest of four brothers and a first generation American, I deeply connect with the idea of the American Dream, that through hard work you can build a better life for yourself and your family. Financial planning has become my way of helping others realize their dreams. I pride myself on being able to breakdown complex concepts in an easy-to-understand approach. Helping clients and their families, get past the challenges life throws at them and work towards achieving their goals, fuels me every day!

How do you do good in your community?
In the past 15 years living in the Red Bank area, my wife, Evelyn, my son, Julian, and I joined Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel, NJ where we got involved with many church events including the Annual Greek Festival. Through the church, I joined and became an active member in the local chapter of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational and Progressive Association) which raises money for local charities. These charities include the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House for Greek American Children, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Fulfill (Foodbank) of Monmouth & Ocean County NJ, Scholarships for Greek American HS Students and many more.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in the small town of Bergenfield, NJ. I lived in New Jersey all my life until recently when my family and I moved from Tinton Falls, NJ to Inverness, FL to take the position with Modera Wealth Management. I formed some of my closest friendships growing up in NJ attending Bergenfield Highschool, Rutgers University and most recently living in Monmouth County. During my time at Rutgers, I joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and to this day, we still get together with friends and their families for Rutgers football and basketball games including Homecoming weekend. Although we will miss New Jersey and all our friends there, Evelyn and I are really getting comfortable with living in Inverness, Florida and are looking forward to exploring this great state!
